Smart lighting technology advancements! AI is all the hype, so it was only a matter of time before it made its way into our lights. While it may seem a bit too much to stick artificial intelligence into accessories, I am liking what I see so far. Govee announced three new technologies at CES 2026: LuminBlend+, AI Lighting Bot 2.0, and DaySync.

With these, Govee is making notable breakthroughs in color performance, AI capabilities, and personalization. It turns smart lighting into an emotional and well-being experience.

LuminBlend+: Setting new standards for color accuracy and management

Let’s start with the core lighting functionality. LuminBlend+ is Govee’s improved color management system. It uses a 16-bit precision chip to control lighting and colors more efficiently.

It can handle up to 281 trillion color variations, and even color temperature capabilities get expanded, reaching 1,000K to 10,000K. That is the widest color temperature range in smart lighting technology so far.
