InkPoster
TL;DR InkPoster launched two new A1-sized color E-Ink frames at CES 2026.
Both use E-Ink Spectra 6 color ePaper for a print-like impression, but feature differing aesthetics.
The poster-sized frames are designed to function as fully cordless wall art, with up to a year of battery life.
Color E-Ink isn’t just for E-Ink tablets anymore, and wall art is one of the more logical places it’s showing up. The tech offers the flexibility of digital art without the glow, noise, or constant power draw of a traditional screen. After launching its first consumer-friendly color ePaper art poster in 2025, InkPoster returns to CES 2026 with two new A1-size frames that scale the idea up in a big way.

At roughly 23 by 33 inches, these are wall-dominating frames that function more like statement pieces than decorative accents. InkPoster has shown smaller formats before, but the A1 frames are its first move into true gallery-scale ePaper, roughly the size of a traditional movie poster. The first of the large new models is the design-forward InkPoster Duna, created in collaboration with Pininfarina, an Italian design studio best known for automotive design. The second is the more minimalist InkPoster Tela 40.5-inch, with the 40.5-inch label referring to the diagonal measurement of the display, similar to how TVs are sized.

The two frames share the same core technology, image quality, and battery life, and software also remains the same in either model. Both use a color ePaper display built on E-Ink Spectra 6 with a Sharp IGZO backplane. InkPoster says the panel can display more than 60,000 colors with a paper-like finish, with no backlight or glare. The display only uses power when the image changes, allowing each frame to last up to a year on a single charge. Once mounted, they’re completely cordless and silent. Users can update artwork remotely through the InkPoster app, and cycle through licensed pieces or personal images.
