In the version of the article initially published, some of the kymographs shown in Figs. 4j and 6c, and Extended Data Fig. 9a,b, were inadvertently duplicated during figure preparation. These panels were initially inserted as placeholders and were mistakenly included in the final manuscript submission. Additionally, several columns in the Source Data were unintentionally duplicated during the transfer from the original Prism files to the submitted Excel file; these duplications affect the Source Data for Fig. 4 and Extended Data Fig. 9. All errors have been corrected in the HTML and PDF versions, and the Source Data files for those three figures have been more clearly labelled to assist readers in evaluating the data and corresponding statistical analysis. The original Figs. 4j and 6c and Extended Data Fig. 9a,b are available for comparison in the Supplementary information accompanying this amendment. The main results, conclusions, and our interpretations of the data remain unchanged.
