About half of all people haven't updated their iPhone to iOS 26, according to Statcounter. If you're one of those people, you should update to iOS 26.2 now to protect your device from two zero-day vulnerabilities. Apple released iOS 26.2 on Dec. 12, and the company wrote online that the update patches two bugs that may have been actively exploited.
You can download iOS 26.2 now by going to Settings and tapping General. Next, select Software Update, tap Update Now and follow the prompts on your screen.
"Keeping your software up to date is one of the most important things you can do to maintain your Apple product's security," Apple wrote online.
The update also brings changes to Apple Podcasts and Apple Music apps, and it gives you the ability to adjust more aspects of your iPhone's Liquid Glass design. Apple introduced Liquid Glass in September when the company released iOS 26, and the design has had its fans and detractors.
Here are the features and security updates iOS 26.2 brings to your iPhone.
