Musk sees ‘unreasonable concentration of power for Google’
Earlier today, the News from Google account on X confirmed a multi-year partnership with Apple to power Siri and the Apple Foundation Model with Google’s infrastructure.
A couple of hours after that, Elon Musk replied to the post, calling it “an unreasonable concentration of power” for Google:

Musk’s post comes as his xAI company is currently suing Apple and OpenAI over their partnership to bring ChatGPT in as an add-on to Siri and to Apple Intelligence features.
According to Musk, their partnership has been preempting competitors such as Grok from having a fair shot at the App Store. Despite being widely discredited, the allegation is scheduled to proceed after surviving dismissal attempts from both Apple and OpenAI.
Apple is behaving in a manner that makes it impossible for any AI company besides OpenAI to reach #1 in the App Store, which is an unequivocal antitrust violation.
