We’re just a few days into 2026, but already it’s paying off to own a Google Pixel. Yesterday, January 12, Google began rolling out its very first update of the year.
It’s a standard security update like we receive every month, and while there are no new features, there are important bug fixes. Most notably, Google highlights fixes for a battery-draining issue, misbehaving touchscreens, and an always-on display bug.
