Following an extended software hiatus over the holidays, Apple has returned to shipping beta updates. Today the company has released public beta 2 for macOS Tahoe 26.3, iPadOS 26.3, tvOS 26.3, and more.
Latest 26.3 public betas arrive following holiday hiatus
Apple’s next wave of public betas has arrived.
Yesterday the company shipped developer beta 2 for macOS Tahoe 26.3, iPadOS 26.3, watchOS 26.3, tvOS 26.3, and more.
Now, those same software builds have been released for public beta users too.
So far, the 26.3 software cycle is shaping up to be light on new features and changes.
iOS 26.3 has the most noteworthy additions, and even that release is fairly limited. There’s a new tool for easily transferring from iPhone to Android, some updates to the wallpaper gallery, and fresh settings for EU users.
Aside from bug fixes and performance improvements, we haven’t discovered any noteworthy changes in Apple’s other 26.3 OS updates so far.
That might always change as the beta cycle proceeds. But if Apple follows its typical pattern, the 26.3 updates will likely ship soon and give way to a much more exciting 26.4 cycle.
So aside from a couple potential surprises when these 26.3 updates ship, we’re unlikely to see much in the way of big new features during the beta cycle.
