CES is always packed with the latest and coolest tech, but only a handful of what debuts at the largest tech trade show in the world truly breaks the internet (and by the internet, we actually mean CNET viewership).
At CES 2026 live, a few products dominated our headlines and social media feeds. They promised convenience, tapped into cultural tensions or were seriously technologically advanced.
These five products were the most popular on the CNET website during CES 2026. That's not to be confused with the best tech that won CNET Group awards.

LG's latest Signature ventless combo became one of CES's most viewed products on CNET by doing something less technologically radical but something that all other hybrid washer-dryer models failed to do before: washing and drying clothes in under 90 minutes. Anyone who's owned a hybrid washer and dryer knows that drying clothes alone in one of these machines can take upward of two hours, so this is a massive upgrade -- not just in time but also in space in your home.

Lovense's Emily wasn't just one of the most viewed CES products on CNET. It was also one of the most debated topics on our social media. Robots aren't new to CES, but Emily marked a noticeable shift in how intimacy tech is being presented. Rather than positioning Emily as an innovative sex toy, Lovense introduced the robot as part of a broader AI ecosystem designed to learn and adapt over time while simulating emotional connection. That framing pushed the conversation beyond hardware into a more uncomfortable territory: AI companionship, emotional dependency and the blurred line between interaction and attachment.

Any solid-state battery announcement is guaranteed to grab attention, and Donut Labs' debut was no exception. The brand unveiled a solid-state battery design that promises lighter battery packs, higher energy density, faster charging and improved safety and stability compared to lithium-ion batteries.
