Where to watch

Real Madrid vs. Levante will air in the US on ESPN Select.

New Real Madrid boss Alvaro Arbeloa will take charge of his first La Liga fixture in charge of Los Blancos as they welcome relegation candidates Levante to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Unveiled as Xavi Alonso's replacement on Tuesday, Arbelo kicked off his tenure as Real head coach in the worst possibly way, after overseeing a shock 3-2 defeat in the Copa del Rey to second-tier strugglers Albacete the following day.

Currently four points behind La Liga leaders Barcelona, Real will be hoping to get back to wining ways against a Levante team still stuck in the drop zone. Despite their precarious position in 19th, results have improved under Luis Castro since his appointment last month, with Los Granotas now unbeaten in their last three fixtures.

Real Madrid faces Levante at the Estadio Bernabeu on Saturday, Jan. 17. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. CET local time, 8 a.m. ET or 5 a.m. PT in the US and Canada, 1 p.m. GMT in the UK and a 12 a.m. AEDT kickoff in Australia.
