Where to watch

Liverpool vs. Burnley will air in the US on USA Network.

Liverpool will look to stretch its unbeaten run to 11 matches on Saturday as it hosts a Burnley team needing a win to keep alive its fading hopes of survival in the English Premier League.

While the hosts have become harder to beat since their early-season slump, three successive draws nevertheless mean Arne Slot's team still lacks the ruthless edge that underpinned last season's title triumph. The Reds remain without star forward Mohamed Salah, despite Egypt's semifinal defeat in midweek at the Africa Cup of Nations, with the Pharaohs set to take on Nigeria in today's third-place playoff.

They take on a Burnley side that is now up to 12 consecutive matches without a win. While Clarets boss Scott Parker will have drawn encouragement from their recent 2-2 draw at home to Man United, they remain stranded in 19th place, eight points adrift of safety.

Liverpool takes on Burnley on Saturday, Jan. 17, at Anfield, with kickoff set for 3 p.m. GMT. That makes it a 10 a.m. ET or 7 a.m. PT start in the US and Canada, and a 2 a.m. AEDT kickoff in Australia on Sunday morning.

Dominik Szoboszlai scored a stunning long-range effort for Liverpool in its 4-1 FA Cup win over Barnsley on Monday, though the Hungarian star later gifted the Tykes a goal with a bizarre defensive error. MB Media/Getty Images
