Installing

Please read the relevant documentation in full. Devuan Excalibur can be installed as an upgrade from Devuan Daedalus or migrated from Debian Trixie. Note that skipping releases is not supported.

Debian has implemented a merged /usr file structure. In order to focus Devuan's available resources on our primary purpose regarding systemd, Devuan developers have decided it is in the project's best interests to follow the usrmerge implementation. Learn more: UsrMerge Status: Testing/Excalibur
