The world's most elite figure skaters have taken the ice in hopes of gold in Milan at the 2026 Winter Olympics, which kicked off today.

On the men's side, "Quad God" Ilia Malinin and the world champion ice dance duo of Madison Chock and Evan Bates lead the charge for Team USA in figure skating.

The women's event looks set to be a friendly contest between Japan's Kaori Sakamoto, as she seeks a golden end to her competitive career, and America's returning 2025 World Champion, Alysa Liu.

The 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics Figure Skating events will take place at the Milano Ice Skating Arena between Friday, Feb. 6, and Saturday, Feb. 21. A full schedule of ice skating events can be found below.
