Internet blackout: Iran’s academic shutdown

read original related products more articles

On 8 January, Iran was hit with a near-total Internet blackout. It is unclear what conditions universities are operating in, if at all. These restrictions echo a five-day Internet blackout in 2019, which had sparked concerns about digital isolation.
