League leader Arsenal could open up a seven-point lead at the top of the English Premier League on Wednesday as it travels to Molineux to face a Wolves team that already appears to be preparing for life in the Championship.
The Gunners allowed title rival Man City to gain ground after settling for a 1-1 draw with London neighbor Brentford last time out in the EPL. Mikel Arteta's men nevertheless remain on track for the quadruple after claiming a comfortable 4-0 FA Cup fourth-round victory at the Emirates over Wigan on Sunday, with the north Londoners racking up all four goals within the opening half hour of that match.
Wolves, meanwhile, come into this game 18 points from safety and seemingly doomed to English football's second tier. The Old Gold managed to give Arsenal a major scare in the reverse fixture at the Emirates back in December, with the Gunners scraping a 1-0 home win in a match that saw young defender Myles Lewis-Skelly receive a controversial red card.
Wolverhampton Wanderers host Arsenal on Wednesday, Feb. 18, at Molineux, with kickoff set for 8 p.m. GMT. That makes it a 3 p.m. ET or 12 p.m. PT start in the US and Canada, and a 7 a.m. AEDT kickoff in Australia on Thursday morning.
