The 2026 Kitchen and Bath Industry Show is in the books. We traversed the more than 500,000 square feet of exhibit space in Orlando to find the most compelling, innovative and mind-blowing tech coming to the home.

Large appliances, smaller kitchen tools, bathroom fixtures, toilets, and lighting are getting better, smarter, and more efficient -- nowhere was that more apparent than in this year's three-day February showcase.

We've rounded up all the standouts that have caught our attention, including countertops that can charge your phone and a brand new high-speed cooking technology that'll get a roasted chicken on your table three times faster.

A brand new high-speed cooking technology

The Celerity combines microwave, convection and infrared to cook food three time faster than standard ovens. David Watsky/CNET

The Sharp Celerity High-Speed Oven has what the brand calls a "golden heater." The industry-first oven uses a combination of traditional true convection, microwave heat to penetrate the food quickly and deeply, and infrared to sizzle and crisp the outside. Those three cooking technologies let it roast chicken and bake cookies faster than any convection oven.

A washing machine that won't ruin your sweater

Whirlpool introduced what it claims is an industry-first built-in delicates basket for the drum of a washing machine. It's a straightforward yet clever design that lets you wash delicate sweaters and shirts alongside a regular load. The basket shields delicate items from the rough agitation of a standard wash cycle and doubles as a handy way to keep socks paired, making the folding process a little less tedious.
