Pereira became Forest's fourth manager this season after replacing Sean Dyche last week. The former Wolves boss got things off to a winning start with a 3-0 victory away to Fenerbahce on Thursday in a Europa League play-off clash in Istanbul.
The Tricky Trees take on a Liverpool team hovering outside the top five. The Reds were buoyed by a battling 1-0 league away win against Sunderland that was followed by a dominant 3-0 FA Cup win over Brighton at Anfield last weekend.
Nottingham Forest take on Liverpool on Sunday, Feb. 22, at the City Ground, with kickoff set for 2 p.m. GMT. That makes it a 9 a.m. ET or 6 a.m. PT start in the US and Canada, and a 1 a.m. AEDT kickoff in Australia in the early hours of Monday morning.
