Amazon rolls out faster delivery options for shoppers, but with an additional fee
Amazon became the dominant retailer it is today by promising fast, convenient shipping for customers. And today, the company announced delivery options that are even faster.
New 1-hour and 3-hour delivery options are launching for over 90,000 products on Amazon across the US.
Amazon says 1-hour delivery is available now in “hundreds of cities and towns across the U.S.”, while 3-hour delivery is offered in “over 2,000 cities and towns.” It plans to expand the faster delivery options to more areas in the months ahead.

If you do live in a supported area, these delivery options come with additional fees:
$9.99 for 1-hour delivery for Prime members, and $19.99 for non-members
$4.99 for 3-hour delivery for Prime members, and $14.99 for non-members
