The new models are the Home 200, Home 400, and Home 600.
The $399 Home 200 wireless smart speaker delivers rich stereo sound and immersive Dolby Atmos Music. The $599 Home 400 wireless smart speaker delivers Dolby Atmos Music, enveloping you in rich, expansive sound that reveals every nuance. Built-in dual height speakers add a lifelike vertical dimension for a more immersive soundstage, while HEOS makes set-up and streaming simple. The $799 Home 600’s custom engineered eight-driver array with built-in subwoofers and height speakers delivers full, detailed audio that fills your space. Each driver is powered by its own amplifier for precise control and balance.
The company told Engadget that the new speakers are also designed to have a warmer, friendlier, less techy look.
These new devices were also designed so that they blend in with home decor better than most speakers, coming in stone and charcoal color options for that purpose.
In terms of specs, the Home 200 gives you three 0.98-inch tweeters and a 4-inch woofer. The 400 comprises two 0.75-inch tweeters, two 5.5-inch woofers, and six amplifiers, as well as two one-inch upward pointing drivers. The 600 has dual 6.5-inch woofers with two tweeters, two mid-range drivers, and two upward-pointing ones.
In addition to supporting the iOS platform, all three speakers have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB-C and AUX connectivity.
