GoKawiilmacOS Tahoe 26.4 arrived this week, and users have discovered that it comes with a new Terminal security popup when you first try to paste in commands.

Thanks to the MacBook Neo, there is a huge base of users that are brand new to the Mac.
And though it’s not an altogether new problem, I’ve observed examples online of some Neo users being tricked into pasting commands into the Terminal that had unintended consequences.
But Apple has a solution to boost general Mac security.
As discovered by X user Mr. Macintosh, macOS 26.4 adds a new Terminal popup when pasting commands from other apps for the first time.

You will now be warned when you paste terminal commands from Safari or other apps, flagging anything that could harm your Mac.
