The Google Pixel 10a has been out since March, and unlike the Pixel 10 launch, there haven’t been many Pixel 10a-specific problems just yet. Of course, no phone ever launches in perfected form. Bugs and issues are bound to happen.
Below are some of the common problems that could occur with your Pixel 10a, though many of them are applicable to other Pixel and Android phones in general.

Problem 1: Screen freezing

A growing number of Pixel 10a users have reported issues with their lock screens freezing up and other issues with unlocking from the always-on display. The issue was introduced with the March 2026 Pixel Drop and security patch.
Google is aware of the issue and will likely address it through a software update in the near future, but for now, there are some potential workarounds.
Potential solutions: Some users have found that the problem is resolved after the latest Play System update, though this doesn’t appear to work for everyone.
