GoKawiilIf you own a Samsung device and your Amazon cart is looking a little bare, a new collaboration could help you fill it. Free streaming service Samsung TV Plus has added an Amazon Live FAST (free, ad-supported television) channel to its lineup, offering viewers a mix of streaming and shopping.
The Amazon Live FAST channel launched on Prime Video in 2024, incorporating Shop the Show technology that lets customers use their mobile devices to buy items they see on their TVs. That continues with the FAST channel on Samsung TV Plus. According to a Samsung TV Plus press release, you can scan an on-screen QR code and view a synchronized experience in the Amazon Shopping app. With Shop the Show, you can browse items and participate in live chats on your phone while watching the FAST channel.
According to the release, content you'll see on the Amazon Live FAST channel includes curated segments tied to Amazon shopping events and "live broadcasts with fan-favorite celebrities, creators and hosts." Original series include In Bed with Paige DeSorbo, Pick Your Prize and Shopping Court.
You can access Samsung TV Plus -- and the Amazon Live FAST channel -- on Samsung Smart TVs released after 2016, Galaxy devices, Smart Monitors and Family Hub refrigerators.
