GoKawiilRory McIlroy's bid to join the exclusive club of back-to-back Masters champions gets underway this week as the first major competition of the 2026 golf season tees off at Augusta National Golf Club.
The star finally claimed the elusive green jacket last year on his 17th attempt at winning golf's most prestigious tournament. His playoff victory over Justin Rose also saw the 36-year-old complete a career Grand Slam and end an 11-year drought.
McIlroy will now look to win a second straight Masters title, emulating a feat achieved only by Tiger Woods, Nick Faldo and Jack Nicklaus.
Leading the betting heading into this year's tournament is world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, while LIV Golf duo Bryson DeChambeau and 2023 champion Jon Rahm are also strongly tipped to claim the $3.6 million winner's purse.

The tournament runs from Thursday, April 9 to Sunday, April 12. The Masters 2026 will air in the US on Prime Video, ESPN, Paramount Plus, CBS and the Masters website and app.
