Bloober Team announced today that its award-winning game Cronos: The New Dawn will launch on Apple silicon Macs with native support on April 28. Here are the details.
High-profile games keep coming to the Mac
Cronos: The New Dawn was launched last September across multiple platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X, Nintendo Switch 2, Windows, and Linux.
A whole new breed of survival horror emerges with Cronos: The New Dawn. Survive the brutal wastelands of the future, fight nightmarish merging creatures and jump back in time to harvest souls as you seek to uncover the origins of the apocalypse that wiped out humanity.
Today, the studio announced that the game will also be released for the Mac on April 28, with native support for Apple’s native graphics technologies, including MetalFX Upscaling, which launched on macOS 26 Tahoe.
Today’s announcement follows the successful day-one launch of Crimson Desert on the Mac alongside more traditional gaming platforms like the PS5 and Xbox.
While Cronos: The New Dawn isn’t a new release, its upcoming native debut on the Mac still adds momentum to Apple’s long-running push to position the platform as a serious gaming machine.
