Why This Matters

Reddit's upcoming adoption of Apple's Liquid Glass design in its iOS app highlights the growing influence of the new visual style across popular third-party applications. This shift enhances user interface aesthetics and consistency across iOS, benefiting both developers and consumers by providing a more modern, polished experience. As more apps integrate Liquid Glass, it signals a broader move towards a unified, sleek design language in the tech industry.

Key Takeaways

Apple’s new Liquid Glass design launched last fall in iOS 26, but third-party apps continue to roll out support, and Reddit’s iOS app will do that very soon. Here’s what Liquid Glass in the Reddit app looks like.
