Apple’s System Status page confirms an ongoing Apple Music outage that is making the service unavailable or slow for some users. Here are the details.
Apple Music faces ongoing outage
According to Apple’s System Status page, an Apple Music outage has been affecting users since 4:59 p.m. ET.
The status page says that “some users are affected,” adding that “the service may be unavailable or slow for some users.” The company has not provided additional details about the root cause of the outage or how widespread the issue may be.
Today’s disruption follows a separate problem earlier in the day that impacted the iTunes Store, which experienced issues between 7:00 a.m. ET and 2:15 p.m. ET before being resolved.
