Beats has two pieces of news to share today. First, the company has unveiled the next step in its partnership with K-pop star JENNIE: a new special-edition pair of Beats Solo 4 in Onyx Black.
The Apple subsidiary is also expanding its lineup of USB-C cables…
This is the second special edition JENNIE version of the Beats Solo 4. Last September, Beats and JENNIE teamed up on a Ruby Red pair of Solo 4 headphones that completely sold out in under 24 hours.
Here’s how Beats describes the new Onyx Black Solo 4 headphones:
The sleek, monochromatic headphones feature two attachable black bows, one UltraPlush ear cushion embellished with symbols directly inspired by JENNIE’s music, and a color-matched carrying case. The campaign video highlights the signature ribbon design through a mesmerizing visual journey. “We always knew my first drop with Beats was just the beginning of the story,” said JENNIE. “This second chapter truly represents my personal evolution and self-discovery. I wanted to create something that felt both powerful and personal, and I’m so excited for everyone to experience this new chapter with me through these sleek headphones.”
The new JENNIE x Beats Solo 4 headphones in Onyx Black will go on sale beginning Friday, April 24, on Apple’s website and at select online retailers for $199.99. If you don’t care about the JENNIE collab, you can snag normal Solo 4 headphones on Amazon for $129.95.
New USB-C cables
Second, Beats is expanding its lineup of USB-C cables. The company entered the USB-C cable market in April 2025 with an array of different sizes and colors.
Today, Beats is launching a new 3-meter (10-foot) USB-C to USB-C cable. It’s available in Bolt Black, Surge Stone, Nitro Navy, and Rapid Red for $29.99.
Built for enhanced durability, the Beats charging cables are designed with a tangle-free woven design and reinforced internally to help prevent fraying. Optimized for ultra-fast charging up to 240 watts this 3m cable enhances speed and efficiency, elevating your charging experience. To ensure quality and performance, the charging cables undergo thousands of hours of testing throughout the design and manufacturing process. Compatible with all USB-C Apple and Android devices, Beats Cables support charging, syncing, audio, CarPlay, and transferring data.
