Why This Matters

WhatsApp's broader rollout of the Liquid Glass redesign marks a significant UI update that enhances visual consistency and modernizes the user experience. This change reflects Meta's ongoing efforts to refine app aesthetics and usability, impacting both developers and consumers by setting new design standards for messaging apps.

Key Takeaways

Now, the company appears to be rolling out the first stage of its broader Liquid Glass revamp, with several users reporting on X that they can now see the updated interface.

Other UI elements, such as the voice message player and the message reactions menu, still use the old design. However, it should now only be a matter of time before Meta brings Liquid Glass to more parts of the app.
