As it has done over the past several years, Apple has kicked off its hashmoji campaign on X for posts containing the #WWDC26 hashtag.
Custom WWDC26 icon now live
As spotted by Aaron Perris, X users posting about next week’s event can now use the #WWDC26 hashtag to automatically add a hashmoji to their posts.
Like in previous years, the artwork applies this year’s WWDC look to Apple’s logo. For 2026, that means a metallic, reflective design with the same chromatic aberration effect that is widely expected to be part of Siri’s new look in iOS 27.
The WWDC26 hashmoji went live a few hours after Apple’s SVP of Worldwide Marketing, Greg “Joz” Joswiak, published a teaser of the event on his own account on X:
