Nintendo has released a big update to its popular Nintendo Music app. The update adds three new features, including CarPlay support, Siri integration, and a dedicated iPad app.
Nintendo Music now available in CarPlay, iPad, more
Nintendo Music was first released back in October 2024. The app lets you stream the most iconic songs from many of your favorite Nintendo franchises. There are tracks from Animal Crossing, Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey, and many more. This week, the app also added music from the Mario Kart World game for Nintendo Switch 2.
In addition to that soundtrack addition, Nintendo Music is also now available via CarPlay. If you use CarPlay, you’ll now see Nintendo Music on your app grid for easy access to the iconic soundtracks while you drive.
The Nintendo Music app for CarPlay lets you browse your library, search for different game soundtracks, play tracks offline, browse curated lists, and more. It’s a full-featured version of the Nintendo Music app that you have on your iPhone.
Furthermore, Nintendo Music is now available on iPad. This means you no longer have to use the scaled-up iPhone app to listen on your iPad.
Finally, Nintendo Music has added Siri support. You can now search for your favorite songs using just your voice with Siri.
