The summer sale season is here. Plus, with Prime Day (and concurrent sales) kicking off next week, there's no better time to scour the internet for deals, discounts, and top savings at every retailer as they compete for your cash.

Perhaps the best thing about Prime Day season is that other major retailers are looking to cash in on the shopping palooza, offering similar or better offerings on top products -- and even membership opportunities. Instead of paying $98/year, you can sign up and pay only $49. This offer is likely valid at least through the start of Walmart Deals on July 7, so if you're looking to grab exclusive membership savings that you can benefit from all year, now's your chance. Snagging this Walmart+ subscription also unlocks access to Walmart's upcoming Deals event, which runs from Tuesday, July 8, at 12 a.m. ET through Sunday, July 13. Walmart+ members get early access starting on Monday, July 7, at 7 p.m. ET, granting them a head start on the best discounts and limited-stock items, like possible restocks on the newest Nintendo Switch 2.
