Apple releases first betas for tvOS 18.4, HomePod 18.4, more

Several weeks after the last big OS updates shipped to the public, new beta software is finally available for Apple’s devices. Beta 1 updates include tvOS 18.4, HomePod 18.4, and more. New software cycle should bring more feature additions than the last wave Apple has officially kicked off a new beta cycle for its various software platforms. The company launched public versions of its previous update wave last month, including tvOS 18.3, HomePod 18.3, and more. Those releases focused on performance, bug fixes, and security enhancements. New features were hard to find. But now, a fresh beta cycle is here, bringing the possibility for more feature-rich updates.
