GoKawiilApple Wallet in iOS 27 adds a handful of welcome new features, and today’s beta 2 brought another—Insights—to US users. Here are the details.
‘Insights’ is new in Apple Wallet with iOS 27, here’s what it does
Apple Wallet has long been the digital home for credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay Cash, and other financial tools.
But in iOS 27, Apple is introducing a new feature designed to help you better track your money: Insights.
The feature was available in iOS 27 beta 1 in certain parts of the world, and today’s beta 2 release brings it the US for the first time.
Tap the three-dot icon in the top-right corner of Wallet to find Insights. Here’s how Apple describes it:
See Spending Insights and more
Connect accounts to Wallet to see spending insights, recurring transactions, account balances, and more.
Though I’m unable to see any of my own Insights just yet in the beta, my colleague Benjamin Mayo has had them in the UK since beta 1. Here’s a quick look:
Insights in Wallet may look familiar if you use Apple’s Health app. They strongly resemble some of the visualization features in Health that offer insights into your activity, sleep, and more.
