Most camping chairs are fine once you're sitting in them. The annoying part is everything before that: carrying them, storing them and deciding whether they're worth bringing in the first place. That's why I prefer the CLIQ ClassiQ portable chair over any other camping chair I've ever owned.
It folds down way smaller than a typical camping chair -- to roughly the size of a Hydro Flask water bottle -- and is easy to keep in your car, or even your bag, for beach days, parks, outdoor movies or any event where you know you'll eventually get tired of standing. It's also surprisingly comfortable, which I did not expect from something that packs down this small.
The CLIQ chair is $127 for Prime Day, which is 15% off the regular price. I know it's not the cheapest camping chair you can buy, but it's the one I keep reaching for time and time again (read all about it here). And after nearly five years of daily use with mine, that's probably the best thing I can say about it.
