Talk to Spotify launches today in beta
Spotify announced today (Via Engadget) that “eligible Premium users will see new ways to talk to Spotify across Home and Now Playing view on mobile.”
With the new feature, currently in beta, users can speak or type to an in-app AI assistant that draws on their listening history and broader knowledge of artists, albums, songs, podcasts, audiobooks, and more.
Here are a few examples of questions Spotify says users can ask:
Play some artists I haven’t heard before
What is the inspiration behind Dua Lipa’s Radical Optimism?
When did I first listen to this song?
What genres have I been into recently?
What other books has this author written?
