As various franchise titles under Warner Bros. Animation have been shuffled around platforms, several DC Comics animated films have landed on YouTube just in time for DC Studios Superman release.
The discovery was first reported on X by @worldsfinest, a pop culture commentator who noted that they’d seen many titles appear in YouTube’s free movie catalog (be warned: that means free with ads). The random nature of seeing more of the Warner Bros. Discovery library just appearing on YouTube of all places continues to give us the impression that the studio may not really understand the value of its many franchises.
The movies you can find on the video platform include:
DCU: All-Star Superman
Batman vs. Robin
Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker
Batman vs. Two-Face
DCU: Superman/Batman: Apocalypse
Batman: Gotham Knight
Superman Doomsday
Superman vs. The Elite
Justice League vs. The Fatal Five
DCU: Batman: The Dark Knight Returns: Part 1
Batman: The Dark Knight Returns: Part 2
The Batman vs. Dracula
Justice League: Gods and Monsters
DCU: Batman: Assault on Arkham
Justice League: The New Frontier
Batman & Mr. Freeze: Subzero
Batman: Black and White
Batman Unlimited: Monster Mayhem
Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman
Superman/Shazam! The Return of Black Adam
Batman: Bad Blood
Justice League Adventures: Trapped In Time
Wonder Woman (2009)
Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths
There appear to be more films discoverable outside of selecting Warner Bros. under provider right beneath the video player; that’s how Batman & Mr. Freeze: Subzero popped up on our search. So your best bet is to search by title to check if one of your DC animated favorites is also free on YouTube.
