Apple has just released a wave of new software updates for its full lineup of devices.
Updates include tvOS 26.6, HomePod 26.6, visionOS 26.6, and more notable releases like iOS 26.6 and macOS 26.6.
Apple’s official release notes highlight “performance and stability improvements” as the focus of these latest updates, with some security updates too.
Ultimately these releases should make your Apple TV 4K, HomePod, and Vision Pro run more smoothly than before. But beyond under-the-hood changes, you won’t find new features in these updates.
That’s because we’re getting close to the fall launches of tvOS 27, HomePod 27, and visionOS 27.
Those updates and their new features were unveiled in June and are currently in beta, with launches expected in September.
Note: tvOS 27 drops support for a pair of popular Apple TV models, so if your device isn’t compatible, then you’ll be stuck on tvOS 26.6 and future minor updates moving forward.
