Amazon’s massive 4-day Prime Day sale might not officially start until early tomorrow morning, but the deals are definitely already flying. Amazon stepped in with a more than notable deal on Apple’s AirPods Pro 2 at $159.99 to undercut everyone earlier today, but Walmart’s massive Prime Day sale is now live in early access and is now offering them down at $149 shipped – this is the best price ever AirPods Pro 2 have ever been offered for. This Walmart price is only available to Walmart+ members until midnight tonight and will likely get matched at Amazon soon.
Apple AirPods Prime Day 2025 deals
As part of the early Prime Day sale, Amazon is now offering the best price of the year on Apple AirPods Pro 2 down at $159.99 shipped. While we did see the regular $249 pro-grade, flagship Apple earbuds drop to $170 this past weekend, Amazon is taking this down even lower for Prime Day 2025. This $160 discount undercuts the $169 we are seeing elsewhere at major retailers in competitor sales and is indeed the price we expected to see for Prime Day starting early tomorrow morning. With competitor sales already putting the AirPods Pro 2 down at $169, this deal might very well be Amazon getting a head start on its official Prime Day price.
There have been several chances to land the latest AirPods Pro 2 down at $169 and $170 this year, but Prime Day is already ushering in the lowest price we have tracked on Amazon across 2025.
They did drop down to a wildly low $153 for Black Friday last year, but at just $7 more than the lowest price ever offered in new condition, you really can’t go wrong with AirPods Pro 2 at $160 folks.
The verdict is still out on whether or not Apple will introduce a brand new set of AirPods Pro 3 this year or not – some analysts and insiders are still looking towards 2026 for an update at this point, but you’re either way landing the best price of the year on what is arguably the best pair of wireless earbuds on the planet.
All of that said, Apple has continually updating the AirPods Pro 2 experience with upgraded features, and it more than likely will again later this year if the new series 3 set doesn’t make an appearance in the fall.
