What’s still coming in iOS 27?

Mark Gurman at Bloomberg had months of accurate leaks about iOS 27 before the software update was announced. And scanning through his final pre-WWDC report reveals just how much of the software he was able to detail ahead of time.

But there are a handful of features Gurman reported on that haven’t yet arrived in the iOS 27 beta. These features might still be added to iOS 27.0 later on, or they could appear in a future update like iOS 27.1.

More third-party chatbots integrated with Siri

Gurman writes:

Apple is also planning to open up Siri to outside chatbots beyond OpenAI’s ChatGPT, which is already integrated into the software. In the Search or Ask view, users will be able to toggle between chatbots. Apple has tested this new approach with Claude and Gemini, in addition to ChatGPT.

The interface for toggling between AI sources is present in iOS 27 right now. But currently ChatGPT is the only other option besides Siri.
