Ever since Google announced the Googlebook at I/O 2026, we’ve seen several Googlebook leaks, including a Googlebook-branded Lenovo mouse last month. However, ASUS and Lenovo aren’t the only brands preparing to launch Googlebooks. Acer is joining the fray as well.
According to information found in the Bluetooth SIG certification database, Acer is preparing to launch at least four Googlebooks with the model numbers GP714-91N50A0, GP714-91N58Y2, GP714-91N596Q, and GP714-91N70CH (via GbookHub).
The outlet also found retailer listings that include some of the key specs of the upcoming laptop. Acer’s Googlebook could come with an Intel Core Ultra 5 processor, 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and a 256GB SSD. It could also use a 14-inch OLED display with a 2.8K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
It’s possible that the specs in the retailer listing correspond to an entry-level Acer Googlebook. Previously leaked benchmark data suggested that the company’s upcoming laptop could feature an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor paired with 32GB of RAM.
The laptops are also likely to include other Googlebook-specific features, such as the Glow Bar and a dedicated Gemini key. They should also support features that Google has already confirmed for upcoming Googlebook laptops. These include Magic Pointer, Create My Widget, Cast My Apps, Quick Access, and more.
Retailer listings suggest that Acer’s Googlebook could be priced at around €1,150 (~$1,320). However, Chromebook prices in the past have usually been similar in Europe and the US. It’s possible that the Acer Googlebook will also be available in the US for around $1,150.
