July's consumer price index is due out this morning. If the monthly reading comes in modestly, it could give the Federal Reserve justification to not hike interest rates in the near term. Here's what to know: Economists expect headline CPI to show a 0.1% for a 12-month gain of 3.4%, well above the Fed's 2% goal.
