If you haven’t heard, Amazon’s annual Prime Day is sort of turning into a ‘Prime Week.’ And one special has already started: Apple TV+ subscriptions are now only $4.99/month through Prime Video.
Last fall, Apple TV+ became available inside Amazon’s streaming ecosystem for the first time.
What does this mean? Basically, that there’s now an alternate way to subscribe to and watch Apple TV+.
Rather than subscribing through the Apple TV app, you can subscribe through Prime Video. Your Amazon credentials will be used for the payment.
And if you do this, then you’ll be able to watch all Apple TV+ content directly inside the Prime Video app.

Normally Apple TV+ costs the standard $9.99/month through Prime Video.
But currently, you can subscribe for just $4.99—a 50% off special.
This lower rate will apply for the first two months of your subscription, after which it will revert to $9.99 if you don’t cancel.
The offer is available through Friday, July 11, presumably coordinated with Prime Day happening this week.
