It was brought to our attention that images in Extended Data Fig. 1d in our paper might contain a duplicated image. We can confirm that figure preparation errors were responsible for this mistake. The panel shows the specificity (background) control for antibodies used for PLA assessment in cells treated or not with Aclarubicin. In the corrected version, the duplicate image (cGAS staining in the DMSO control) has been replaced by a correct representative image. The correction does not affect the conclusions of any data in the manuscript. The figure has been updated in the HTML and PDF versions of the article.
