Apple One is getting better in iOS 27, with subscribers set to benefit from new features coming to bundled Apple services like iCloud+ and Apple Music. Here’s what’s new.
#1: Increased access to new Apple Intelligence features
iOS 27 is packed with big Apple Intelligence upgrades, including the new Siri AI, powerful editing tools in Apple Photos, improved image generation features, and more.
While these features will be free to all users, some of them will have daily usage limits—and those limits will be higher depending on your Apple One tier.
Per Apple’s press release:
Some Apple Intelligence features, including image generation, have daily usage limits because they rely on powerful server models. Increased access is available with most iCloud+ subscription plans
We don’t yet know the specifics of how much higher the AI usage limits will be. But every Apple One plan includes iCloud+, and recent evidence suggests a progressive increase with each higher tier.
#2: HomeKit Secure Video has four new upgrades
Another iCloud+ perk, HomeKit Secure Video, is getting four new features in iOS 27. Per Apple:
4K video: “supported HomeKit Secure Video cameras can now stream and record in 4K” Generated video descriptions: “users can quickly understand what happened across a sequence of video clips, even without watching them” Search in clips: “[users] can easily find what they’re looking for, like a package delivery” Noteworthy clips: “At the top of the Search page, the Home app elevates noteworthy clips that users may want to review, so they can quickly see important moments”
