There are alarmingly few degrees of separation between moral paragon of the AI industry Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei and Jeffrey Epstein.

According to a new investigation from the Wall Street Journal, Amodei’s wife Cami Clark communicated with Epstein for several years while trying to get the deceased sex criminal and accused sex trafficker to invest in her women-focused porn company.

In March 2011, Clark reached out to Epstein after being introduced to him by John Brockman, a literary agent who helped connect Epstein with scientists and tech figures, emails released by the Justice Department showed.

“Hello Jeffrey! We would love to have dinner with you this evening,” Clark wrote to Epstein, sending him her cellphone number.

A week later, Clark sent another email to Epstein with an attachment.

“We thought you and the ladies might enjoy the script/treatment for our first four films, American Girl in Paris. A little nsfw,” she wrote.

Clark reached out to Epstein a year later to pitch her company again, but Epstein didn’t remember her at first.

“im sorry, who is this,” he wrote.

“We have the free luxury porn company,” she reminded him. “Does that ring a bell?”
