GoKawiilAt WWDC 2021, Apple announced support for storing your driver’s license in Apple Wallet on iPhone. At the time, Apple touted this as the last step before you can be “fully free of your physical wallet.”

Apple Wallet ID support
In the five years since Apple announced this feature, support has gradually expanded across the United States. Right now, iPhone and Apple Watch users in 14 states and Puerto Rico can add their driver’s license or state ID to Apple Wallet. You can view the full list here:
