TL;DR Pixel’s Flip to Shhh gesture has stopped working for some users, with the feature either becoming impossible to enable or disappearing from Settings entirely.

The bug manifests differently for many. For some, the feature was still listed in Settings but couldn’t be toggled on. For others, the option stopped appearing within Settings altogether.

“So my flip to shh randomly stopped working, and when I went to settings to turn it off and on again, I got a pop up saying that it can’t be turned on without any kind of specifics,” wrote one user, while a different Pixel owner notes, “I also tried different solutions until the option itself disappeared completely – very disappointed as this is a key feature in my daily usage during work or when I go to bed.”
