Why This Matters

The AYN Odin 3, a leading Android handheld for gaming and emulation, is facing multiple price hikes due to ongoing supply chain issues. Consumers have a limited window to purchase at current prices before the increases take effect on September 1. This trend highlights the impact of global supply chain disruptions on high-demand gaming devices in the tech industry.

Key Takeaways

The AYN Odin 3 is the most powerful Android handheld on the market right now, making it ideal for cutting-edge emulation and other demanding games. It’s already seen price hikes this year due to the RAM crisis, but we’ve now got more bad news.

AYN announced on Discord that it’ll be raising the price of the Odin 3 once again. These price hikes vary from $20 to $30. Check out the new prices below.

8GB/128GB AYN Odin 3 Base: $369 (was $349)

$369 (was $349) 12GB/256GB AYN Odin 3 Pro: $469 (was $449)

$469 (was $449) 16GB/512GB AYN Odin 3 Max: $529 (was $499)

These price hikes go live from September 1, so you still have some time to buy the handheld at the current prices. This isn’t the first time AYN has raised Odin 3 pricing, though. The handheld received price hikes in March, going from $329/$399/$449 to $339/$439/$489. We then got a $10 price increase across all three models in June.
