TL;DR Samsung appears to be testing another One UI 9 beta for Galaxy S26 internally.
It has already released six beta updates, and the last one came out just a couple of days ago.
The upcoming release is expected to be the final beta before the stable One UI 9 rollout for the Galaxy S26.
Stable One UI 9 arrived last month with the launch of Samsung’s latest foldables: the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Z Fold 8, and the Z Flip 8. Despite the stable release, older phones still lack the update. Samsung continues to run a beta and recently released the sixth One UI 9 beta for the Galaxy S26 series only this week.
The fact that the latest One UI beta release consisted mostly of bug fixes and usability-related enhancements — and that a stable version is already available for certain devices — led to hopes that a stable release would come soon. But before the rollout, it may release another beta.
Samsung may be working on another One UI 9 beta for the Galaxy S26 series, ahead of the anticipated stable rollout on eligible devices. Earlier today, tipster Tarun Vats posted about another test build spotted on Samsung’s internal test server, with a build number ending with “ZZHK.”

Vats proposes this build could be released in the coming weeks as the seventh One UI 9 beta before a stable version is out. Based on Samsung’s recent cadence of One UI 9 beta updates, we could see this update come out in the next two weeks. However, the mere existence of a test build alone does not confirm that Samsung will indeed release it.
Meanwhile, Vats also spotted another One UI 9 internal test build for the Galaxy S26, sporting a build number ending with “BZHI.” At the time, he remarked that this could be the first stable build to be released — given that Samsung does not have another beta to test first.
