Why This Matters

The upcoming Apple TV 4K introduces significant upgrades, including a new Siri AI integration, a more powerful A-class chip, and advanced wireless connectivity with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6. These enhancements will improve performance, user experience, and smart home integration, making it a compelling update for consumers and the tech industry alike.

Key Takeaways

A new Apple TV 4K is long overdue, and was originally expected to launch last fall. But now that Siri AI is finally ready, all signs point to the new Apple TV 4K being unveiled soon—possibly at the September 9 event. Here’s what’s rumored.

It’s very possible we’ll get some additional Apple Intelligence features too, such as an improved search experience.

#3: New A-class chip

The current Apple TV has an A15 Bionic chip that first debuted in 2021. Fortunately, the new model should come with a big upgrade in the performance department.
