GoKawiilRetailers Cut Prices on Mattresses Ahead of Labor Day, Including WIRED-Tested Picks
Multiple mattress brands are running Labor Day promotions, with discounts extending to models that WIRED's reviewers have personally tested and recommended. One standout deal uses a checkout code to lower the price on what testers call the best all-around mattress from their evaluations, which features individually wrapped springs and six cushioning layers. Additional deals cover bedding accessories like sheets, pillows, and blankets, with more offers expected to be added as the holiday approaches.
GoKawiil's interpretation of the reporting above, not reported fact.
Mattress prices rarely drop outside of major shopping holidays like Labor Day, Memorial Day, and Black Friday, making this a rare window for meaningful savings on big-ticket sleep purchases. Because mattresses are a high-consideration purchase with steep price tags, verified deals on already-tested products help shoppers avoid guesswork and marketing hype.
- Labor Day is one of the few times mattress companies offer significant discounts
- A promo code is available for a top-tested mattress with pocketed springs and multiple cushioning layers
- Shoppers should also budget for deep-pocket sheets due to the mattress's 13-inch height
